Privacy Policy

PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy, without the fog.

Effective August 2, 2026. This policy applies to the NudgeX Link iOS app and public browser pages at nudgex.link.
THE SHORT VERSION
NudgeX Link uses a random public address, has no visitor chat or free-text message box, hides visitor identity from owners and keeps search indexing off unless an owner deliberately enables it.

1. What NudgeX Link does

NudgeX Link lets an owner publish a temporary status Page and receive preset, one-way visitor signals. Visitors can open a Page through a URL, QR code or NFC tag without creating an account. NudgeX Link does not provide chat, replies or free-text visitor messages.

2. Information we process

We process the minimum account and Page data needed to provide the service: a protected Apple or email account identifier, a masked email address, Page content and settings, notification tokens, purchase status, aggregate Page opens and Page activity. Activity may include an anonymous source label, broad device, platform, browser and entry type so an owner can understand or block repeat abuse. If an owner enables Nearby Check, we store the Page location and selected radius. A visitor location is used only to calculate whether a signal is within range and is then discarded; Activity stores only that the check passed.

3. Information we do not seek

We do not request background or continuous location, contacts or a social graph. We do not show an owner a visitor’s identity, IP address, full browser signature or exact location. We do not sell personal information or use Page visits to build advertising profiles. Do not place phone numbers, home addresses, vehicle registration numbers or other sensitive information in public Page content.

4. Public pages and search engines

Anyone with a Page link can open it. Search visibility is off by default. If an owner turns it on, independent search engines may discover, cache or display the Page. Turning it off asks search engines to remove the Page, but their cached results can take time to update.

5. Service providers and purchases

Service providers support public-page hosting, notification delivery and purchase status. Apple processes payment details; NudgeX Link does not receive full card information. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices.

6. Retention and deletion

Page activity is retained for up to 30 days. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes. Deleting an account disables its Pages immediately and schedules remaining account records for deletion within seven days. Security, fraud-prevention and legal records may be retained separately only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

7. Your choices

You can sign in with Apple or passwordless email, disable notifications, pause or delete a Page, turn Nearby Check off, turn off search visibility, block or allow an anonymous signal source, clear Page activity, export account data and delete the account from Settings. Disabling notifications keeps status-only Pages available but disables visitor signals.

8. Safety and children

NudgeX Link is not an emergency service. Contact local emergency services when anyone is in immediate danger. The service is not directed to children under 13, and children should not create or manage public pages.

9. Contact and changes

For privacy questions or requests, contact 2winter.dev@gmail.com. We may update this policy as the service changes and will publish the effective date on this page.
